Hosting a Wedding or Event at the Manor 1858

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of attending a VIP tour and dinner at the Manor 1858, located in Leesburg, Virginia. I enjoyed this tour and dinner with my wonderful colleagues in the wedding industry. The evening attire was themed “Ralph Lauren meets Chloé,” a beautiful fusion of elegant denim, flowing femininity, and just the right touch of cowboy charm—setting the stage for a truly memorable experience.

Now, imagine the magic of a couple’s wedding day at this remarkable venue. The Manor 1858 is nestled in the heart of Virginia’s expansive countryside, offering a breathtaking backdrop that seems to stretch endlessly. The property boasts plenty of flat, open land, making it ideal for setting up a grand tent to accommodate up to 250 wedding or event guests under the stars.

For a micro wedding and or an intimate gathering (such as a special dinner, board retreat or a small reunion), the historical stone barn provides a cozy and elegant atmosphere that’s rich with character. And if your vision includes a lively night of dancing, the “vault” is the perfect spot. This unique space lets your celebration carry on without any concern for the neighbors, so the music can play as long as your heart’s desire.

Cocktail hour can be just as enchanting, whether it takes place inside the event space or on the charming covered porch. It all comes down to your guest list and, most importantly, the limitless creativity of your dreams.

I must take a moment to give a virtual “shout out” to the banquet staff at Manor 1858. From the moment I stepped into the barn, they welcomed me with warmth and grace, making the evening feel truly special.

And a heartfelt thank you to Laura Ritchie with Grit and Grace for orchestrating such an incredible event. It truly felt like a little slice of heaven on earth.
