Howerton+Wooten Events Successfully Managed the Logistics of “The Family Room” Series

Washington, DC (September 15, 2019) — The professional meeting planning firm, Howerton+Wooten Events, successfully managed the logistics of the inaugural speaker series program called “The Family Room.”  Members of the Metropolitan AME Church, created this speaker services.

She shared the importance of ensuring that the 2020 Census counts every American.  Ms. Abrams is a New York Times bestselling author of Lead From The Outside, former Georgia House Democratic Leader, and 2018 Democratic gubernatorial nominee

Fair Fight to Ensure Free and Fair Elections

Following her gubernatorial campaign in 2018, Abrams launched two organizations aimed at empowering Georgians. The first organization is Fair Fight. Fair Fight dedicated to ensuring free and fair elections through litigation, legislation, and advocacy. The second organization Is Fair Count. This organization is dedicated to ensuring that the Census accurately counts hard-to-count populations, such as people of color and non-English speakers.
