A Modern Twist on a Classic Wedding Gown
One of my absolute favorite parts of Shay and Greg’s wedding is the fact that Shay wore a gorgeous cappuccino-colored Ian Stuart ballgown. The modern twist to their wedding attire was the fact that Shay’s bridesmaids rocked white gowns that turned plenty of heads!
Stunning Bridal Bouquets
And, those bridal bouquets (created by Highway to Hill) could literally take your breath away! The floral team at HIghway to Hill filled their bouquets with the prettiest orchids and the most lush garden roses. You couldn’t take your eyes off of them!
A Wedding Where Luxury, HIstory and Fun Coincided
Greg and Shay’s luxurious wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. A local saxophonist performed their wedding ceremony music, and a hot, local deejay kept the party going during the dinner reception.
A Wedding Reception Filled with Love, Laughter, and a Must Attend Party
Their reception was a blast! The bride and her father kicked off the fun with a joyful dance. In fact, there was a military gala held next door, and the participants at the gala crashed the wedding reception! The groom was a marine, so there was no way we could turn them away!
A Beautiful Wedding Reception Design
And, their wedding reception took place in the Palm Court Ballroom of the Mayflower Hotel, and it featured blush, gold, eggplant and ivory details filled with wedding flowers created by Highway to Hill.
