Your wedding day stationery is not only gorgeous, it’s a visual method for creating a stylish and consistent look to your wedding day. Some wedding experts call this your “wedding brand.” At one point, the only thing that came to mind when you discussed wedding stationery was a wedding invitation, but there is so much to keep up with now.  Other stationery items include save-the-dates, thank you cards, escort cards and/or place cards, and menu cards. And, let’s not forget your wedding day signage, such as a welcome sign, a seating chart, and bar signage. So, we created a Wedding Stationery Guidebook ($12.99) that is chock full of tips and checklists that will keep you organized, happy and sane as you plan your wedding!  We promise!

A Quick Side Note About “Stationery” vs. “Stationary”

Quite often people will use the word, “stationary” when they are describing paper. It’s actually a grammatical error that is so common that you will see stationery designers tag the words “stationary” and “stationery” when they talk about wedding paper. But, here is the deal: The word, “stationary” (spelled with an ”A”) is an adjective that means ”still” or “not moving.” Now, the word, “stationery” (spelled with an “E”) is a noun that refers to writing materials like paper, cards, and envelopes. Here’s a little tip that I used to reference when I was younger — The word, “stationery” has an ‘e’ just like an envelope. The word, “stationary” has an ‘a’ because there is no “activity.“ I hope this helps!
