The lead meeting planning consultant for this event, Kawania H. Wooten, CMP, has been a professional meeting planner in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1990. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Events Industry Council in 2004 and serves as an adjunct professor at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC), where she teaches in the Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary Arts program.
