We’re Feeling All of the Emotions
“Brides” magazine recently relaunched Its list of “Black-Owned Wedding Businesses You Should Hire,” and the list included Howerton+Wooten Events! And honestly, we are over here feeling ALL of the emotions!
This Unwavering Commitment to Excellence That Defines Our Team
When we started this business, our goal was simple: to create weddings that were not only beautiful, but deeply meaningful. We wanted each celebration to reflect our couples’ stories, their culture, their joy, and their love. To see our name among so many talented, respected Black-owned wedding professionals is both humbling and exhilarating.
This recognition is more than just a mention in a prestigious industry magazine. It’s a reminder of the years of hard work, the long nights, the joyful celebrations, the quiet moments of problem-solving behind the scenes, and the unwavering commitment to excellence that defines our team.

This Fuels The Howerton+Wooten Events Team to Keep Pushing Forward
As a Black-owned business in the luxury wedding space, we’ve always believed that representation matters. We’re proud to bring our expertise and creativity to every event we plan. And, we are proud to showcase our cultural heritage, our perspective, and our heart. To be highlighted by Brides is a celebration of that mission. It fuels us to keep pushing forward, and to keep raising the bar for ourselves and for the industry we love so much.
Thank you to our couples, past and present, for trusting us with your most treasured moments. We are honored to be in this community with our peers and fellow vendors. Also, we are grateful to Brides magazine for amplifying Black-owned businesses and helping couples discover the incredible talent within our community.
We’re grateful. We’re proud. And yes, we’re absolutely doing a little happy dance behind the scenes.
