You Attract More Bees with Honey Than You Do With Vinegar
My father, aka Fat Daddy, always tells me that you attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. Our parents and grandparents have shared this good advice with so many of us. Lately, I find myself watching talk shows and reality shows that showcase beautiful brides insulting and demeaning others. And, when I say “others,” I am speaking of the way they treat their friends, family members (and grooms). And, all of this is an effort to get people to do what you want them to do. Wow! I was horrified to watch an episode of Tyra recently where a bride asked her sister to lose 100 pounds. She also asked her to get a tummy tuck and purchase $1,000 worth of Indian hair for a hair weave. Her rationale: “She needs to lose the weight anyhow, so why not do it before my wedding.”
Your Relationships Will Outlast the Memory of Your Wedding Gown
Memories of how you treat your loved ones will outlast the memory of your wedding gown, wedding cake AND the band. So be nice while planning your wedding. Even when you are REALLY stressed out. It will benefit you (and your special relationships) long after your wedding day.
