This afternoon, we are excited to share that the wedding of our Howerton+Wooten Events couple, Stephanie and Reggie, is featured on Munaluchi Bridal and on Ebony.com. Wow! Stephanie and Reggie’s wedding ceremony took place at Our Savior’s Way Lutheran Church, located in Ashburn, Virginia. Their dinner reception and dancing took place in the Clubhouse Ballroom of the Lansdowne Resort, located in Leesburg, Virginia.
A Purple and Steel Blue Color Palette for a Modern Wedding Design
Stephanie and Reggie’s modern wedding design featured a unique color palette of purple combined with a steel blue. We helped our couple carry out this modern and chic color palette in the wedding party’s attire, their tabletop design, and in the uniquely modern floral design.
A Chic Wedding Design that Featured Fun and Unique Touches
Stephanie and Reggie combined their love of magazines and Batman (yes, Batman) with stylish modern details to create a wedding that represented them perfectly. The groom and groomsmen’s pocket square had the Batman emblem stitched on them. There was also a batman signal spotlight on the wall near the wedding cake. And speaking of their wedding cake, there was even a little batman peaking from underneath it!
One of our favorite details from their wedding day was their wedding program and table numbers. Stephanie and Reggie took their beautiful engagement shoot pictures and recreated them into issues of their favorite magazines! Love it!
Special Touches for a Great Guest Experience
The modern wedding design included numerous special touches, such as handkerchiefs in a basket with the wording, “tears of joy.” There were also mints for the guests at the end of the night that said, “for midnight kisses,.” And, the wedding guests took home the yummiest of key lime tarts in a custom box that said for your “sweet dreams.”
