This is My Story . . .

I remember June 24, 2006 like it was yesterday.  Our bride called me at 7:00 a.m. to let me know that her father-in-law-to-be passed away that morning.

After the bride and groom had a long discussion with their family members, the couple decided to go forward with their wedding.  They believed the groom’s father would have wanted them to do it.

After my team and I took a moment to say a prayer for the couple, I sent e-mail messages to the other wedding vendors.  We wanted to give them the heads up, and chat with them about our recommended approach for the day.

Throughout the wedding day, every single wedding vendor was simply amazing!  Together, we turned a potentially stressful day into a wedding day filled with kisses, laughs and a very happy couple.

At the end of the reception, the bride and I shared a very special moment.  She was so grateful to us for everything.  And, I felt honored to help her.

When I drove home that evening, I was exhausted and a little emotional.

This was my very first wedding, and I knew I was hooked.
