A Weight Watcher Friendly Cocktail
If you follow this blog, you know one of my favorite drinks to make for guests is a two-ingredient low-calorie recipe for strawberry lemonade. Since the 4th of July holiday is upon us, I am adding a little vodka to the beverage. Why? Well, I am counting weight watcher points again, and I don’t want to feel left out when cocktails are being served.
Check out this Skinny Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail recipe. It’s a refreshing drink, and it is a total of 110 calories (worth it!). By our estimation, that is only four (4) WW points! I know, I know, four points may seem like a lot after you have used points for breakfast and lunch. But, it’s liquor and it’s made from potatoes. Literally.
Instructions for Making the Skinny Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail
Here is the easy, peasy recipe for you. Once you try it out, let me know what you think.
- First, place the contents of a 16-ounce bag of frozen whole strawberries into a pitcher
- Pour two (2) 52-ounce bottles of Minute Maid Light Lemonade (it’s only 15 calories per serving!) into the pitcher.
- Pour yourself a glass of the strawberry lemonade into a large ice-filled glass
- A 1.5 ounce shot of vodka into the glass
- Stir and garnish with strawberries and lemons
- Serve
