Washington, DC (May 15, 2019) — The event management firm, Howerton+Wooten Events, which is based in the Washington DC metropolitan area, successfully managed the logistics of the annual fundraising gala for Bread for the City. The gala is called the Good Hope Gala, and its 2019 gala was also the organization’s 45th “breadiversary,” which celebrated 45 years of delivering health equity to its DC neighbors.
Howerton+Wooten Events, LLC is a concierge event management boutique renowned for creating ultra-creative, “high touch” conferences, weddings, galas and special events. The company is based in Bowie, Maryland, but its award-winning team is experienced at designing and managing conferences and events throughout the U.S. The company was founded in 2007 by Kawania Wooten, CMP, an industry veteran in the meeting and event planning industry.
The mission of Bread for the City is to help Washington, DC residents living with low income to develop their power to determine the future of their own communities.
