Earlier this month, the Howerton+Wooten Events team had the honor of planning a party for a sweet little girl’s first birthday.

The theme of the party was “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” so we used that to design the dessert table.  The banner and the paper flower gave the design a contemporary twist.  Don’t you just love the banner with the song lyrics on it?

The party colors were pink and gold. This was carried out in special touches created by LePenn Designs, such as the napkins, the favor tags and the cookie pop tags.  Other special touches included the personalized cake topper and star-shaped drink stirrers.

We added a cream color to balance the color scheme.

The amazing birthday cake was created by Baked & Wired, located in Georgetown, DC.

The rest of the treats from Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, The Sweet Lobby and Goosie Lou Designs were the perfect complement to anyone’s sweet tooth!
