Christmas season is upon us, friends! So, let’s break out the tree, hang the wreath on the front door, and celebrate with a crisp, yummy cocktail for the grownups in the house. My entire event planning team loves a good cosmo, so we loved finding the recipe for the Winter White Cosmo. It’s a fun, winter-themed twist on a popular cocktail, and we found this recipe on Pinterest. (of course!) This recipe gives a popular cocktail a seasonal vibe. And, who doesn’t love a “seasonal vibe!”
Ingredients for the Winter White Cosmo
- Two (2) ounces of Vodka (I like Grey Goose, but other GOOD vodkas work too.)
- One (1) ounce of White Cranberry Juice
- ¾ ounces of Cointreau Triple Sec
- One (1) ounce of Fresh Lime Juice
Ingredients for the Garnish on the Winter White Cosmo
- Fresh mint
- Sugar Covered Frozen Cranberries
- Red Wooden Skewers
Directions for Making the Winter White Cosmo Recipe
- Mix the vodka with the white cranberry juice, cointreau, and a fresh lime.
- Instead of a martini glass, serve this beverage in a steeples wine glass
- Rim the glass with sugar
- Garnish the glass with skewered cranberries. If you would like a little extra sweetness, roll the cranberries in the white granulated sugar.
Keep The Glassware in Mind When Making This Drink
I loved watching “Sex and the City” as much as anyone, so the glassware matters to me. Make sure you serve your Cosmo in a fun martini glass. But, if you don’t serve your drink in a martini glass, try a wine glass instead. When you create a fun cocktail experience, you want to make sure that your drink matches the vibe.
