Howerton+Wooten Events Successfully Managed the Bread for the City Good Hope Gala

Bread for the City Good Hope Gala

Washington, DC (May 15, 2019). The event management agency, Howerton+Wooten Events, successfully designed, coordinated and managed the logistics for the Good Hope Gala. This is the annual fundraising gala for Bread for the City.  This 2019 fundraising gala took place on the organization’s 45th “breadiversary.” This meant the organization celebrated 45 years of delivering health equity to its Washington, DC neighbors.

Since 45 years ago was actually the year 1974, the Howerton+Wooten Events team decided on a “disco” theme for the gala. This design included a dance band who entertained the gusts with a best music of the 70s. The Howerton+Wooten Events team created centerpieces made from a collection of disco balls. It was a night to remember!
