The team at Howerton+Wooten Events successfully planned the Capital Impact Partners Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship Celebration. Truth be told, planning doesn’t encompass our team’s full work. The Howerton+Wooten Events team’s work included design, coordination and on-site direction. This event, along with the accelerator, were sponsored by Amazon.

The Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship Developers Presentations

The cohort of developers gave presentations were both informative and inspiring. You could truly see the impact the program had on the participants. After the presentations, the organizers held a graduation ceremony. This graduation identified the end of the cohort for this class of participants. It truly was a wonderful event.

The Capital Impact Partners Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship

The Housing Equity Accelerator Fellowship builds on Capital Impact’s successful Equitable Development Initiative training program. This program Is for emerging real estate developers of color across the country. The fellowship includes advanced real estate training with a focus on affordable housing. The program also provided the participants with connections to local mentors. Finally, the participants had access to pre development grant capital to support early-stage project development.

This Corporate Event Featured Cocktails, Networking, Presentations and a Graduation

The celebration event took place at the National Landing Experience Center, located in Arlington, Virginia. This event featured a networking reception for approximately 75 guests. After the reception,the developers in the cohort were able to showcase their programs. The vendor partners involved in the following:
