Good morning friends! Today, we are showing some blog love for the wedding day of our Washington DC couple, Chris and Scott.
A Beautiful Garden Wedding at the Meridian House
Chris and Scott’s wedding took place at the historic Meridian House in Washington, DC. Their emotional ceremony took place in the venue’s beautiful garden. The wedding reading featured the statement in “Hodges v. Obergefell,” by Justice Anthony Kennedy. And, when the sun went down, guests danced inside the historic house and enjoyed cocktails in the Linden Grove.
A Delectable Dinner Menu Filled with Tasty Treats
Chris and Scott’s wedding dinner menu, created by Main Events Caterers, was incredibly yummy. I can personally say that I enjoyed every bite of their menu tasting.
This Wedding Day Design Featured Rustic Touches and Maryland Sunflowers
One of the special touches you will see throughout Chris and Scott’s wedding is the use of a sunflower. It gave a rustic feel to a wedding with a downtown Washington DC theme. Their wedding invitations were created by the Dandelion Patch.
Clever Washington DC Metro Details at This Wedding Reception
As I mentioned earlier, their wedding theme had a very “Washington DC” feel. Their escort cards looked like the old school Washington DC metro cards and their dinner table numbers were actually Washington DC metro stops.

Thank you for sharing in our “wedding day love” for Chris and Scott’s Wedding! You can also see a feature of their wedding on the “Washingtonian Bride & Groom” blog.
Love & Soul Always, Kawania
