This past weekend, we experienced one of the greatest joys of our work as wedding planners. We welcomed some of our former couples back into my home for an intimate dinner party created just for them. As the candles burned and the conversation flowed, my living room filled with laughter, memories, and hard-earned marriage wisdom that only time can teach.
The First Howerton+Wooten Events Couples Dinner Since the Pandemic
For years, hosting an annual couples dinner remained one of my most cherished traditions. Then, the pandemic paused it for a few years. Reopening this tradition reminded my team and me why we believe so deeply in intentional connection long after the wedding day ends. We’re already counting down to our next dinner in November, with hopes of reuniting all of our couples in the seasons ahead.
